Job Description:
This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Music at the assistant or associate rank. The successful applicant will conduct the University's choral ensembles, teach vocal and general music education courses, supervise student teachers, and periodically teach a seminar for the first-year student. Additional duties will include promoting the choral program on a local, regional, and national level; building relationships with music educators in the state; and actively participating in recruiting and mentoring students. Ongoing, individual scholarly and creative activity as well as service to the university is expected.
Requirements:
Master's degree and national visibility required, doctorate preferred. Qualified candidates should have 1-3 years of successful K-12 and university/college teaching experience.
